Visit Santa in the Sugar House area of Salt Lake CityThe Santa Shack has been an ongoing tradition in Sugar House for the past 60 years. In the early days, when it was located in Sugar House Park, Santa would arrive to his shack in a helicopter. The shack has undergone many changes over the years and has settled to its current location, where it has been the past 20 years (just below Highland Drive and 2100 South at Monument Plaza). The current shack was formerly owned by Fiddler’s Elbow and was donated to the Sugar House Merchant’s Association, who accomodate Santa every year. The Merchants Association is also responsible for all the beautiful street decorations found in Sugar House.
