Thank you for exposing one of Utah’s numerous MLM scams. Quackwatch:
Gary Young is an uneducated huckster with a track record of arrests for health fraud. He has repeatedly inflated and falsified his education, credentials, and experiences. His inability to recognize the limits of his knowledge and training contributed to the death of his own child. Sherman Johnson, M.D., a medical director of the now-defunct Young Life Research Clinic, deliberately administered a lethal dose of narcotics to a long-time friend, and then attempted to cover his actions by falsifying the death certificate. There is no reason to believe that either Young or Johnson has sufficient judgment, skill, or ethics to appropriately care for seriously ill patients.
Patients visiting the Young Life Research clinic were likely to waste large sums of money on worthless treatments and be guided away from effective legitimate medical treatments. At best, their life would be needlessly complicated by the prescription of elaborate irrational regimens requiring overpriced products sold only by Young Living. At worst, patients could suffer direct harm from the misuse of essential oils and other dubious treatments.
Treatment at the Young Life Research Clinic was unwise and expensive. Proper medical care can be obtained elsewhere from legitimately educated, licensed, and experienced health care providers.
Young Living’s essential oils cannot treat or cure any medical illness.
Raindrop Therapy is potentially unsafe. Essential oils for aromatherapy use are available from many suppliers do not make ridiculous claims and whose prices are not inflated by dubious multilevel marketing practices.

I’m commenting on the story of “Rock and roll must Die”.
How sorry i am Mr. Jed Beal and his investers and other Utah small business owners have had to go through being pushed around, and in some cases crushed, because of simular names of business, namely by large bussinesses. My family has a few small businesses here in Utah, and we hope to be able to stay in business and prosper. I would like to be one of the addresses for the petition, hoping that yes any entity who wishes to file these letters must have / use a Tort Reform so the cease and desist letters can be scrutinized by our Utah Supreme Court before any business owner is requied to take action against the letter.
I wonder if some companies have to much time on their hands, spending so much time and money looking for trouble, and so far from their own places.
life is meant to be happy, why make so much unhappiness.

I am a former sales associate for Westgate Las Vegas. We are in the middle of a class action lawsuit against Westgate. They ripped off their employees as well as pitched bold face lies to the consumer. The most obvious of that is that there were supposed to be towers instead of a tower in Las Vegas. If anybody wants to know who is in charge of our class action lawsuit please contact Leon Greenberg and associates in Vegas. This company owes me thousands and I am looking forward to going to court against them.

We live in UK and would like to know more about the law suit against Westgate as it appears we have been duped. We have been Westgate Vacation Villas since 1988 owning a 2 bedroom villa for 1 week each year. We have always been happy when staying there for a 2week vacation using the facility of banking a week with Interval International to enable us to have 2weeks as we required them.
However in 2010 in Las Vegas we were approached by Westgate sales to upgrade to a 2bed apartment in Westgate Town Centre only having to pay maintenance every even year. It was explained to us on paper(the sales person drew it out) that we would then be able to have 2 weeks in our 2bed apartment every 2years but the bonus would be if we chose to lock off the apartment to a 1bed we would get 4weeks every 2 years. So we upgraded and paid roughly $7000 extra.
In December 2011 we paid our maintainence approx $850 which is twice what we would have paid yearly on the old contract. In January 2012 we decided we would like to visit our 2bed apartment for 2weeks. I rang Westgate to book this. Imagine our disbelieve when I was told we only had a 2bed apartment for 1week ever even year which is no what we agreed to in Las Vegas.
Who in there right mind would agree to forfit a 2bed villa for 1 week every year for a 2bed
apartment for 1 week every 2 years and paying an exta $7000 for the privilege!
Has anyone else had a similar experience? We tried to talk to Westgate over the phone speaking to different departments which took over 90 mins from the UK only to be told by Customer Services “Well you signed the contract”.
We assumed that the even years meant paying maintenance every 2 years but still having our week every year. We are still visiting in March but we have had to lock off our apartment to a 1 bed apartment for 2 weeks and have had to pay $150 for the privelege.
One would expect that the legal person at time of signing would have brought to our attention that we were getting less than we had previously!

The world will soon end and the Prophet, Warren Jeffs, will sit at the right-hand of God with Jesus and Joseph Smith”

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. And reading that the FLDS church believes this is utterly ridiculous. THE WHOLE POINT OF THE ARTICLE STATES THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO YET YOU TOTALLY IGNORE IT.

I am truly not understanding how LDS or FLDS can ever refer to their faith as a “Christian faith” or religion. Jesus and God do not have many wives, the bible clearly states that. Furthermore, there is absolutely no basis for these prophets as being “GOD”, they are merely gods to the followers of the faith. The ten commandments, which God himself sent down from Heaven for Moses to inscribe on a tablet clearly states that we shall put no other gods before HIM. Additionally, Jesus clearly stated to his disciples in the NT that neither of them would be sitting at the right hand of God because…SOMEONE ELSE had already been appointed.

The entire religious following of both of these fairy tale “religions” is sorely mistaken and are following the words and teachings of a mad man, hungry for power. Millions of children are being abused and subjected to the viewing and after-effects of those who have been abused.

To kick members out of your “church” merely because you don’t have enough to match everyone up with a wife is purely asinine! Finally, to “allow” black men to serve in a divine priesthood is entirely racist. Why, as human beings, equal to every other race, would they need a divine word on the matter when everyone else seems to get into the club just fine after the normal rites, rituals, whatever it is you people do?

As a follower of Christ and a God-fearing/God-loving woman, I am both thoroughly appalled and disgusted by the constant and consistent ridicule of Christianity, of grace, of mercy, of covanental law, and of God’s love for humanity that the LDS AND the FLDS churches are throwing out into the media, into their hometowns, and shoving down their church members’ throats DAILY. Those poor, innocent children…those poor misguided adults. I pray for your souls, that they may indeed someday see God’s Glory.
