Snowboarding Olympic Gold Medalist Shaun White at Sundance party with super models
Yesterday Olympic Gold was awarded to Shaun White. White delivered an amazing performance besting his nearest competition by over 5 points-- a virtual landslide defeat in the snowboard competition. His final manuver called a "double McTwist" was completely insane. the ability to do so much in the air, must make even parogen falcons jealous. As the commentators said "he is single-handily driving the sport."
Just over one year ago Utah Stories' Jonny Glines interviewed White at a party we were invited to cover by Elite Modeling agency in Salt Lake City. White flew in to party from Switzerland to attend the Sundance Film Festival with model and speculated girlfriend Drew Hemmingway. Also attending the party were Actor Woody Harrelson, Elijah Wood and the Smashing Pumpkins.
Utah Storie's Rich Markosian and Johny Glines were neophytes when it came the the world of top models and celebrities but it was an interesting experience to see ladies flocking to Woody and Shaun White. Tough life these guys have.
Utah Stories offers our utmost congratulations to White for winning gold for team U.S.A in such an amazing manner Wednesday night.
