The beautiful people; the one's who were touched by God; the blessed celebrities of our modern era--they all have nothing on the latest sensation created by Susan Boyal; who by all appearances could never fit within the pop-culture, record industry template for star.

Boyal said she has never been kissed, she doesn't have a job or a boyfriend and her companion in life is a cat named "Pebbles". Not exactly your top candidate for a international performance show. Unless the performance show is run by Simon Cowell, who delivers top ratings to networks in both the U.K and the U.S by ridiculing those who are unaware of their own lack of greatness. Simon is famous for putting "Les Misérables" (the Miserables) in their place.

If anyone ever called Susan Boyal "ugly" or "untalented," then she paid no attention. When it was her time to sing in front of Simon, the judges and the world, she belted out the lyrics of "I have a Dream" from Les Misérables like a true star. If you haven't seen it, this is a rare mainstream media story that is worth your attention.
